The short answer: Arch Fit is Skechers’ arch-support insole system, not a single shoe. Skechers puts it into sneakers, walking shoes, work shoes and sandals, so the useful question isn’t “should I buy Arch Fit?” but “which Arch Fit shoe matches what I’ll be doing in it?”

What Skechers says Arch Fit is
According to Skechers, Arch Fit is:
- a podiatrist-certified insole and arch-support system;
- developed with more than 20 years of data and 120,000 unweighted foot scans;
- designed to mould to your foot while keeping its supportive shape over time, with a cushioning layer on top;
- removable in many styles, so you can swap in your own orthotics.
Skechers also says many Arch Fit styles carry the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance. Note the word “many”: not every Arch Fit shoe has it, and not every one has a removable insole. If either matters to you, check the details for the exact model before you buy.
